Job Description Responsibilities: Deliver a variety of prosthetics courses via multiple teaching methods. Practice active and experiential learning strategies. Mentor and advise students. Assess student academic achievement at classroom, department, and college levels while demonstrating an understanding of and a commitment to the assessment of student academic achievement. Participate in program/department accreditation and program review. Participate in professional development activities and service to the college. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree  Occupational Experience Requirement: Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a prosthetic practitioner  Recency Requirement: One year of the work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credentialed field within the last five years. Professional Requirement: Minnesota Board of Podiatric Medicine Prosthetics Practitioner License and certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree Orthotics Practitioner License and Certification Teaching experience Ability to instruct students in classroom, lab and clinical experiences Knowledge of fabrication, fittings, and repairs to prosthetic devices Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience assessing student academic achievement Experience with curriculum development Experience working with diverse populations, first generation students, and underrepresented groups.
